We all know how to create an e-mail address and we use mail address regularly. But creating a Website or a Blog is Free but we do not know how to create a blog. Let us check how to go it.
You can create a Blog using blogger or wordpress. I will explain you how to create a blog using Blogger.
Firstly visit www.blogger.com
and Log in with your Gmail username and Password. If you do not have a Gmail account create one e-mail account by visiting www.gmail.com
Once you create a gmail account visit www.blogger.com and login with the username and password.
Then you will be redirected to a page there you have to give your details and click continue.
Here you have to click on New Blog if you are using the New Interface. Then you have to give a Title for your blog (It can be changed later) then give a blog address which cannot be changed later and you will get it subject to availability. You have to change it if it is already taken. I gave corporatetoday as the adress and i got corporatetoday.blogspot.com as my blog address.
If your address is available select a template below (you can chage later) and click on Create Blog.
Once your blog is created it will be shown in the Blogger Dashboard.
You can create New Post by clicking on Create Post and type your Post and Give title for your post and give suitable label if you want and click on Publish.
You can change the Template for your blog if you wish and templates are available for free to download.
You can check your post by clicking on View Blog once it is published. If your blog address is too long or you want a custom domain you can get it from Godaddy. I chnaged my blog to www.corporatetoday.org
You have to pay for the domain name for changing your blog address into a custom domain. Godaddy offers .com domain names for Rs 500 (sometimes it may be less or may be more). for other extensin it may be less or more.
Once you had created your blog and publish articles you can add it into google and other search engine for indexing.
You can add widgets for you blog by going to layout or can change the template by going to template and upload nice template to your blog. Your blog is ready and you can share it with your friends. Any doubts please give comments and it will be answered.
