How to Copy Songs from an Audio CD into the Computer


We cannot copy songs from an audio CD into our computer simply by right click on the songs and click copy and paste it to our PC. 

If you simply copy paste or click and drag the contents it will be remain useless as only the shortcut will be copied and we cannot play the song if the CD is not inserted into the drive.
Inorder to copy songs from Audio CD do the follwing steps

Insert the Audio CD in the Drive

Then go to Windows Media Player

There will be an Option Named Rip. Click on it

Then you will be shown all the songs in the CD you had inserted and all the Songs which are not copied will be selected.

You can Select whichever Song you want to Copy or Select all for copying all songs one by one.

Then Click Start Rip

When you Click Start Rip a Dialogue box will shown where you can add copyright so that the songs copied into your system will be played only in your computer and not in other computers. or you can copy without protection and click ok.

Once you click on ok your songs will be starts to copy and after finish you can go to My Documents - My Musics for playing the saved songs from the Audio CD.

If you like to copy several CDs each on will be copied in a seperate folder for easy browsing.

You can Rip Audio CDs into Windows Media Audio, MP3, WAV Formats etc.. and also you can change the bit rate to better quality also from 128 to 320 kbps.

You can change the location of the folder where the audios are to be saved in the More Options.
