A Kidney Bank had been started in Thrissur, Kerala by Kidney Federation of India (KFI).
Patients who want kidney will be able to get them through the kidney bank. For that they have to bring their relative who are interested to donate their kidney to another needy patient.

People can register with Kidney Federation of India by paying Rs.100.

Thrissur based Kidney Federation of India founder Fr Davis Chiramal said that they are planning to set up a kidney medical centre in Thrissur for the poor people and also provide dialysis facility to them for Rs. 300.
